You Can’t Help Anyone Who Is Unwilling To Help Himself

Share:

It’s true, you can’t help anyone who is unwilling to help himself.

The himself here also applies to herself, so ladies, you’re not exempted.

All you hear these days are country is hard.

Next you hear the price of everything has gone through the roof

And of course,  tax rates are up, fuel price is up and all one naught.

Meanwhile, you’re not growing younger.

Of course, you don’t like the mess you find yourself.

Your savings are gone or almost gone.

But what are you doing to assure a better tomorrow?

Why not lift a finger to help yourself even if you’re working full time knowing one day the job will be gone?

You’re happy to tell anyone who cares to listen, you’re a procrastinator.

So you know your problems, why not find a solution?

First, you must be willing to help yourself.

The reason is simple; you can’t help anyone who is unwilling to help himself or herself.

Will whining till eternity, blaming the bad hand fate has dealt you, blaming everyone else except you solve your problem?

Will getting more paper qualifications and “professional certifications” help you?

Meanwhile 80% of Nigerians between in the age bracket 18 and 35 are unemployed.

They are not just unemployed, they are not employable because they don’t just have what it takes.

What do they do?

They settle for menial jobs with pay that can’t take them home.

This is my humble recommendation to you.

Burn all your books and certificates and call to tell me Paul I’ve done it.

You tell me I’ve burnt the goddamn books and certificates, what should I do next?

All I’ll say is WELL DONE, written in bold letters.

Then I’ll tell you, go and get yourself a big bottle of beer even if you’ve never tasted a strange and strong drink in your life.

After you’re through come and join iBMC.

Yes, iBMC is always admitting and kicks off before you even know it.

So hurry.

If you’ve no money to pay, don’t worry, ask your bank manager for a loan.

Why take a loan?

Because you’ll be able to pay it back within 12 – 18 months.

You see, you can’t help anyone who is unwilling to help himself or herself.

As Americans say, you must have a skin in the game man/ma’am.

No one who played it safe ever made it big as Gary Vee admonished.
