As a Founder and/or CEO, without a book you’ll never become a Global Thought Leader (GTL).
A book is where you showcase your Teachable Point of View (TPOV).
TPOV refers to “A leader’s well-articulated set of ideas and beliefs that they can clearly communicate to others”. (Prof. Noel Tichy).
Your TPOV is where people glean where you stand on global issues such as:
↳ Global Warming
↳ Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI)
↳ Whether you’re a Catholic or Protestant
↳ Whether you’re A Democrat or Republican
↳ Whether you’re for Israel, Arabs or for both
As a GTL, you can’t afford to sit on the fence when it comes to having an opinion.
As GTL, you don’t just need a book, you need a suit of Intellectual Property (IP).
GTL speak on international stages such as the World Economic Forum (WEF) about causes they care about.
GTL like Tony Elumelu, Dr. Ernest Obiejesi, Bill Gates, and Ford, McArthur, Rockefeller before them, gain recognition for their philanthropic efforts.
GTL attract support for their Foundations from other GTLs.
For example, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation has received over $43 billion from Warren Buffet.
If being recognized as a GTL is not important to you then no need to worry about writing a book.
And there is no need to hone your IP.
However, if your book and IP are important to you, then find a dedicated book coach to guide your steps.
The truth is, money has expiry date, but book and IP never expire.
As a Founder/CEO, are you ready to write and start honing your IP today?
