The key to wealth is how you use your discretionary time.

Private sector employees hardly have discretionary time because they work even on weekends hence they hardly can make both ends meet.

The public sector employee like his politician counterpart has a lot of discretionary time, which they use to their advantage. The truth is public sector employees, both at the state and federal levels, hardly work and if they do, they work for their pockets. They enjoy the best of both worlds: they receive salary and run their businesses. However, they still retire semi-broke because they live above their means.

The majority of politician are in a class of their own. They do nothing except party and enjoy public funds. The amounts they share and steal are sometimes stupendous and they end up becoming money bags. Some can be in money bag position for life as political prostitutes changing political parties every now and then depending on where the wind blows.

The entrepreneur pours his or her heart and soul into his or her enterprise and with consistency and persistency ends up wealthy over time. For the entrepreneur there is no difference between work time and discretionary time when starting out but over time gains more discretionary time by putting structures in place.

To succeed on a sustainable basis look at how you use your discretionary time and invest as much as you can into productive ventures and learning and executing new skills.
