I’m Already A Guru I Don’t Need Training

I’m Already A Guru I Don’t Need Training

You may think or decide I’m already a guru I don’t need training.

But watch it because saying you’re a guru and you don’t need training can come back to haunt you.

A guru is a wise person and most importantly a teacher.

I spoke with a friend’s friend and he told me I’m already an expert, there is nothing you can teach me.

He went on, I don’t need your training because there is nothing I can’t teach others.

And then he said, if your course if free I can consider it, I’m too big for your paid course.

Another guru told me, you must guarantee I will succeed if I join your Course.

Without iron-clad Guarantee I’m not joining he thundered.

Well I’ve been training for more than 30 years and I fear to call myself an expert – I leave that to my students.

Meanwhile I’ve never guaranteed any student he or she will pass or fail my class.

Maybe they do that at Ife, Nsukka and Soldier’s Field, Massachusetts (Harvard).

When you say you’re already a “Guru” or an “Expert” and there is nothing anybody can teach you, there is problem.

Or should I say, you have a problem?

As a matter of fact I don’t welcome gurus to my training.

I welcome learners who are willing to humble themselves and learn day and night.

Their goal is to be able to extend their impact all over the world.

Imagine Tony Robbins telling Brendon Burchard, I don’t need training and by the way, what can you teach me?

I’m already the BIGGEST and Highest paid motivational speaker in the world with net-worth in excess of $500m.

Come on.

What can you teach me?

I don’t need training anymore.

But Tony did not do that.

Tony humbled himself and asked Brendon for help.

Tony attended Brendon’s Mastermind to learn how to create funnels, launch courses online and do JVs.

Tony was crushing it in the analog era but found himself struggling when “everything changed”, thanks to the Internet.

Tony learned as if his life depended on it and bounced back straight to the top.

Well, without the risk of sounding like a broken record, we have to humble ourselves and remain students for life.

If we don’t, we’ll fizzle out and become irrelevant because change is so fast and so furious.
