The theme throughout this week will be on LEARNING.
The theme last week was on START.
The truth is if you don’t start you stand no chance at all.
Once you start yon need to keep Learning.
And Learning must be Day and Night.
Just like in any other endeavour, there are a thousand and one moving parts when it comes to understanding online business.
There is the legendary story that when Bill Gates was learning to master coding in the computer era, he was learning 18 hours per day, that is, almost round the clock.
Gary Vee admonishes anybody who wants to dabble online to learn 14 to 16 hours per day.
Yes, Learning is the key to winning online noting that systems, processes, procedures, strategies, tactics, tools, techniques, and not to talk about algorithms change constantly.
You ask, Paul what do I need to learn?
The short answer, when you’re starting out newly, is, almost everything.
You must understand the BASICS of almost everything no matter if you have a PhD and MBA from Oxford or Harvard.
The truth is your PhD is too specific and your MBA too generic to be of much relevance in certain BASIC areas online, like optimizing your LinkedIn profile, for instance.
While you don’t need to learn much of HTML as in the days of yore since a lot of what is happening today online when it comes to technology is plug-and-play, you still need to understand what to plug to enable whatever to play.
So in direct answer to what you need to learn, broadly you need to learn how to write, speak, train, coach, consult, conduct seminars and market information.
Those are the seven broad buckets you need to understand at least at the BASIC level.
Then, as you’re starting out you’ll be making many mistakes (unless you’re lucky to have a good and honest mentor), so you’ll be learning too from your mistakes.
Then you’ll also have to Learn how to make money online.
In the next episode I’ll dig a little deeper into each of the seven broad buckets on what you need to LEARN.
Effective this month until the end of the year, I will be giving away my updated Ultimate Guides to my readers so ensure you grab yours.
Altogether, there are 12 Ultimate Guides to help guide your path throughout the year.
Friends that read the original Ultimate Guides said it helped them clarify a lot of things and some have said the Ultimate Guides are too good to be given away for FREE.
Well, when I started writing them I didn’t plan to sell them so they remain FREE and will always be free – until maybe I change my mind.
So if you’re interested in my Ultimate Guide to Setting Goals And Achieving Your Dreams download it here and if you’re interested in subsequent ones send me your email address by completing this form and I’ll email the remaining eleven to you automatically when the time comes.
Read and share with friends with no strings attached.
All I ask of you is to give me feedback whether you agree or disagree with what the Guide has to say.
If you want me to send you my 11 remaining Ultimate Guides send me you email address by completing this form (it takes less than 1 minute and it’s not about course registration) and I’ll email each to you automatically when the time comes.
