Believe me, I’m lying. When I launched my Bridges to the Customer’s Heart, I made N12million. People wrote me fat cheques, post-dated. When you call them they would say the ship I was expecting sank in the Atlantic Ocean. So to be frank, I saw only N3million with my naked eyes.

But since then I have made over N40million. Banks, manufacturing coys, and a host of organizations have bought thousands of copies. But more than that, it has opened doors to palaces, executive suites and penthouses.

Once I asked one of my friends to keynote a Seminar and he told me, Paul, I’m not the right person, but take this note and see Mr. X. Mr. X was delighted to see me. He was even more delighted to see my book.

More dramatic, I was invited as a Motivational Speaker somewhere in the East. I protested, I told the guys I can’t speak, I only know how to write. They said sorry, we’ve already sent your name as the Motivational Speaker. The organizers sent a Chartered Helicopter to pick me. I landed at a mighty Gulf Course in the middle of nowhere and I was immediately zipped to a five-star exclusive hotel. At the venue, I handed a copy of my book to the Chief. The house was shown my book and I got my first standing ovation. Rather than take me back to the airport at the end of my speech, Chief pleads, please why not stay, our retreat is for two days? Then added, I will personally drop you – with my Gulf Stream.
